We had a mudbot in my driveway but stored it back in workshop in ST Gabriel

Regretting that decision now

U-villas is currently good. Live off of bayou fountain, and it hasn't risen at all. Going to be up keeping my eye on it.

To be fair, he's been evacuated twice today, and it's a new school for his son.

That map shows what areas are required to have flood insurance. It doesn't show if the areas are flooded.

Just went and checked the lake again at the back of the neighborhood, shown above. It looks like if anything it has dropped a few inches. It is still overflowed a bit into Meadowbend, but it doesn't look like its made its way into any of the houses along the lake. Not sure what it looks like elsewhere in Meadowbend.

As you can see in the picture, Bayou Fountain is directly north of the lake, so we haven't seen any rise in Bayou Fountain at this point in the past 48 hours. I'm afraid that may change, but I'm hoping for the best.

I think I figured out why you are not seeing a rise. We know from scanner that Nicholson is closed between Lee and Innovation. Why? High water. Where is the high water coming from? I found it, right before your location. That would explain how Win Dixie could see backflow, and how Nicholson is currently seeing increasing water levels.

On that chart you just posted

The canal running mostly up/down on the lower right runs right behind the apt I'm concerned about. Just checked and it's somewhat where it's been since noon

Has 3-4 ft til it's at the bank

There goes that theory.

No idea then. But I do know that they shut down Nicholson due to some high water, and apparently water is increasing in level at Bluebonnet.

I'm going to be VERY interested in seeing what happens at your area as the water gets higher where Impotent is. Sounds like it will be pretty significant soon, over a bridge even!
