Do you live in Lakes at bluebonnet? Or have an idea if it's flooding? It's the condos behind all the fast food restaurants that bakes up to the fountain.

Highland at healing place would be the first area affected correct? And slowly rolling west as it rises?

I am home in central. Trying to get my wife home. I think anyone without water here is the exception!
I cant load a lot of the websites for traffic apps and such that is why I am asking here?

Anyone have a status on the neighborhood in front of Open Door Baptist Church in Denham? The name of the street is Victory Lane. It's my wife's grandmother and haven't heard from her since yesterday afternoon.
Drove by that area on 12 yesterday. Open Door was sand bagged by their entrances and water was close to it. It looked to be some of that subdivision was getting water.

My parents house is on hickory bay, the lake on the opposite side of woodlake from there. Their house is on pilings 18+ feet above the lake. They now have 8 inches of water in their house. I was able to get to them by going down Shenandoah avenue and weaving until I got to hagerstown.
Water rose 3 or 4 inches in the 3 hours I was there before we left.

Just saw a pic on twitter of stoney creek avenue (staring between highland/burbank) looks like it's getting at least in front yards at this point.

From what I understand there are lots of them in place because they can't do mandatory testing. In a time like this, probably better to be safe Tham sorry if you can boil.
This. I'm in this line of work, so if you have to use tap water for something, it's better to just go ahead and boil it, instead of not boiling and regretting it later. That goes for everyone in the area. Be smart guys, we can't tell what's going on underneath the floodwaters.

Damn.
I assume that most/all homes are flooded along Old Hammond near Millerville?

We bought our first house in BR over in that area off O'Neal/old Hammond and never had a street flood. Saw aerial pics of it this morning and it's completely underwater

Yeah, that is where I am/live, the condos behind all the fast food places
It's not flooding yet
Went walk to take a look at it about 20 minutes ago
Looks the same
My estimate is it has about 3-5 feet before it overflows into the lake next to it, then another 3-5 feet before it goes over the other side of the lake to where the condos would get water... not to mention that our complex is built up and the blvd (cement) runs down toward drains.. so give another foot or 2

Since then, the church definitely took on water. Saw a video on FB of the pastor standing out front.
