Yeah that will be a def downside. I will certainly miss having days off during the week as well. But I really need to make a change job wise and this is an opportunity I don't want to pass up.
However...I will now have a set schedule. 15 years of working nights with a different schedule every single week is starting to take it's toll on me. I'm not sleeping that great anymore during the day. Having a hard time staying awake at work all night, etc. Having more and more back issues from all the physical work you do as a bedside nurse as well.

I think so. I know a couple former coworkers that left to go to this job and they love it now. It's a way to still take care of others without all the stressors of working as a bedside nurse.
