Yea, somewhere between 2x-2.5x. I don’t think the scam team is that sharp in poker and just knew she had the better hand at that time.
This would track with the 24 y/o alleged their's record. I believe he got a DUI, went to jail for the night, and then got another DUI the next day after he got out

My favorite part of this whole story was the “DM” Robbie received from Bryan. It’s a must read. Like how could she possibly think that would make her case stronger. It sounds exactly like she wrote it.
Yea, he was supposed to go on joey’s podcast last night and tell his story. He lawyered up and declined. Probably the smartest thing he ever did.

It's all just math and the big picture. 2 things this board has problems with, apparently

Who is Bryan? He’s the production guy?

False. She had the high hand going into the river.
At least the odds on the TV (it sounds like you’ve found another odds calculator that gives her the advantage?) after the turn have her at 47% - if she knew his cards why go all in?

Agreed. His statement is just over the top. He says he didn't know who's stack it was lol. Really? You thought you could steal 15k from Phil Ivey on camera & get away with it?
C'mon man

Listen, bubba. It's about the hand and readin your opponent. The cards don't matter.

Then why throw $2,500 at 7/8 suited when you’re holding J4o?

Backdoor straight and flush draw vs a 1/3 pot size bet is an easy float on the flop. That’s actually the most standard play in the whole hand from a poker perspective

I watched most of the feed after the incident and one of the players made a good point. He said that the woman mistakenly thought she had a 3 and then was embarrassed when she realized she didn’t so she lied about why she called.
It also explains why she might have given the money back. She was humiliated and handled the situation like an insecure newby. The pro that lost the hand mistook that for her being shady.
I read Adelstein’s post and while it was well put together, it had nothing substantial in my opinion.

No way. She literally stared at her cards for seconds before making the play.

quote:She had high card, she had him beat. Problem is nobody thinks a high card jack can win when somebody goes all-in for a couple pots, especially when seeing all the draws on the board.
if she knew his cards she would have also known she had the worse hand and would have folded. Especially since they were running it twice.
That’s what I don’t get about the cheating accusations. If she knew what we knew she would have folded.
Unless you know jack high can take the hand if the draws miss.

This is when you should just bow out of this thread.
You don't CALL a bluff with a bluff. You only BET with a bluff.
I know you won't understand......

Every person that’s played a $20 tournament with friends during the poker boom has an opinion.

The odds on the stream factor in the folded hands
i agree that head to head not knowing they dead cards she had the advantage but i would think if they had hacked the deck they would know the folded cards as well which flips the odds in garrett's favor no?

You guys need to play with women more,
They subscribe to no unwritten rules, they do not play logically.
They play on vibes of what they think you've got, and what they think is coming.
Although they win less overall, over the long arc, they tend to get hotter hot streaks.
I play with a group of 50-60 players and about 6 girls play with no unwritten rules and break into the money in streaks, in 7-8 tournaments in a row 1 or 2 will get to the final table calling nonsense with high card, low pair, sometimes just shite.
