How long have you been taking it?

Most daily allergy meds take a few days to get the desired histamine control

I switched to Zyrtec 24-hour and it has been so much better than Claritin.

Try Zyrtec.

If that doesn't work, valium. You won't care anymore.

Is it Claritin D? or just the Claritin out on the shelf. The stuff on the shelf doesn't do anything for me. The stuff you have to show your driver's license for works. It is just hard to sleep on. I find it keeps me awake with weird dreams.

Did you try the generic version? I made that mistake once. Get the name brand "D" version....

It's always worked for me.

Zyrtec or Allegra daily, plus Flonase or some fluticasone substitute daily. When you get stuffed up, take Zyrtec D or Allegra D plus Flonase.

Yes it does. You're taking it incorrectly, have unrealistic expectations, or under treating your symptoms by attempting monotherapy.

Or switch to Zyrtec.
