Around 10:30 Southbound (and down) visibility was easily 100 feet or more and they still had right lane 35 mph only, and by the middle it had completely lifted and still that way until the end. Took an hour to cross for no reason other than laziness or stupidity.
fricking dumbass bureaucratic bullshite.

Don’t doubt that, but an hour and a half later with a decent breeze it wasn’t bad.

I’ve gotten in the closed lane before when there were 4 or 5 cars in front me trapped by some a-hole going 20mph, time it right and the popo can’t see you from the crossovers or pull off shoulders

What's burning? Or is this really just fog?

He’s saying the fog was completely lifted by the middle of the bridge but he still had to go 35mph. Why is that such a crazy thought?

Yes, this is rhe unimaginable but also unquantifiable cost that liberals pretend doesn’t exist.

To me it is just the weather. You have record air temperatures during the day, and at night the water is still cool from the record cold a few weeks ago.

Warm air + cool water + just right amount of wind = fog

Sometimes fog can get a little help if there is particulate matter in the air from a large fire. Earlier in the week, there was one burning near Des Allemands and another one around the lake..

I'm not sure if it is the case in your complaint but you can expect huge over reactions now because of the laziness and stupidity by the Causeway Commission when they had the large pile up in December.

Wish DOGE would look into the causeway commission.

Just like the Atchafalaya, Bonnet Carre, they built these expansions way too small with no safety in mind.....you just have a flat tire, and you are in super danger.
