The Bible / Dinosaurs

Interesting, a different thread got me thinking.
What's your view on how dinosaurs fit into The Bible?
Did they become corrupt and so were left off the ark?
Were they on the ark and died afterwards (possibly hunted for food)?
Were they just made up (by either humans or Satan) as a way to try and legitimize evolution?

The Ark was about 6000 years ago. You tell me.

The Bible is the biggest joke in the history of the universe.

I'm not sure, I laid out the three plausible scenarios in my original post. Either one of which could be what happened.

You can disagree with the historical timetable it presents, you can even deny the existence of God... But it's an incredible historical document that has literally helped shaped the entire world socially and politically. To call it a joke is at the very least obtuse.

From the link above, I think this is the most likely scenario:
It makes sense that because humanity was going to have to completely rebuild the dinosaurs were left off the ark (for good or bad I suppose) because it would be far too dangerous given the state of things to continue to coexist. This seems more likely than them dying afterwards, or possibly some were taken and others left behind.
Those dinosaurs that made for the best hunting might have been brought along, especially if they were considered non-threatening, and could have been wiped out after the flood due to over hunting or disease.

What exactly do you disagree with? Christianity has had a major impact on essentially every part of society - particularly in Western culture.
Hospitals
Universities
The Renaissance
The Reformation
Classical music
The impact of Christendom can't be removed from any of those. That's a very short list. You won't be able to find many aspects of your daily life that weren't at some point heavily impacted by Christianity. Look up the histories of the very first hospitals and universities...
That doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. Entire empires and kingdoms were built around the Catholic Church. It is impossible to deny the impact of Christianity on World History. From about 400AD to the present, it's impact has been unparalleled.
This isn't meant to be a theological debate. What you believe is your business. But to assert that the document primarily responsible for a majority of modern history is "a joke" is, well, silly.

Why would anyone form an opinion on the history of the Earth from a book of fiction?
