quote:Those two bands both had their public images veer far from reality. A classic quote I found in the book Beatles vs Stones:
Lenon was good at beating up women and that's about it. My money is on Keith Richards.
The Beatles were thugs pretending to be gentlemen, while the Stones were gentlemen pretending to be thugs

I think John Lennon literally killed somebody in a fight. He'd whup your arse into the ground and then pen some lyrics about world peace right after.

I'm going with John.
Although I think George Harrison could be sneaky good. Quiet guy with a lot of rage. Won't go down easy.
Paul is a pussy and would get stomped the first time someone goes after his face
Since ringo joined the group late he will probably just watch the other three rumble with each ither

So the 4 unmanliest men in rock history have to fight? Can I bet on them all losing?

Harrison, he was the silent beatle, the quiet ones are the ones to be feared.

quote:You're a bit mixed up. John's best friend Stu Sutcliffe, then the bassist in the band, eyeballed a girl once too often at a show.
I think John Lennon literally killed somebody in a fight.
After the concert the band was confronted in the back alley by some Teddy Boy thugs. In the ensuing rumble Stu suffered several vicious blows and kicks to the head, which may have contributed to his death from a brain tumor at age 21

Was that when they were called The Silver Beatles?

Pete Best (once a Beatle, always a Beatle)
In 1967 he had more rage than the law should allow.

Ringo
ETA: had Stuart Sutcliffe, noticed Pete Best above

IIRC Stu died in the spring of 1962 and had been out of the band since at least the fall

Elvis was a black belt to the umpteenth degree.
My money says he takes all 4 of them. At the same time.
