Im a little soft around the edges, but I've got money in the bank, so I'd say I'm doing alright.

True.

On the other hand consider that millenials don't trust the markets or banks. Where's the money?

What funds, exactly, does the government have?

No way I’m in the top 30% of savings. That just sounds dangerous to have that little just in case of small emergencies.

I went to a health fair at work and I'm 6-1 200lbs. When my report came in, they listed me as obese and said I should weigh no more than 175. So I wouldn't put lots of stock into these reports.

Unless you're very muscular, 200 lbs is pretty fat at 6'1.

Does that debt model include mortgages? Seems low.

I hate seeing that savings account stat year after year. Do you even need a savings account?

Yes. You can set aside easily accessible liquidity for 3-6 months' worth of living expenses without the headache (tax consequences/accountant/etc) of having to frick with your other finances, such as your brokerage accounts. If you're not an idiot, you can also get a decent yield from an Ally, etc., that will approximate inflation or possibly exceed it.

I don't think it counts if your six pack is sitting in your lap or on the coffee table.
