You dint understand anything average Americans live through. That is your problem. Sounds like it’s theirs, and it’s purely out of habit and stubbornness.
This shows how out of touch with reality and the average American you are

Which is precisely what Americans have done for decades to put their kids on a productive learning environment

Just curious.... How do you things would transpire if a pussy like you met a person like me in real life?

I graduated from Central. The schools weren't terrible before but immediately improved when they split away from EBRPSS.
I knew some people that went to Central before it split away. Not growing up in Baton Rouge I was surprised at the time it was then in same school district as schools in Baton Rouge. Drive to my friend’s parents house was longer than I expected back then.
I was more wondering about XIV’s opinion on parental involvement solving problems in schools and why communities leaving district and parents sending kids to private schools would effect remaining parents in EBR school district to continue to be involved enough to keep EBR district from declining over time.
His arguments sound like blaming racism for white flight while also blaming white flight for a lot of EBR schools’ issues both now and in future. I am not quite sure he has grasped his implication that EBR school district needs people he is saying are racist, and That with less of these “racist” whites the EBR district schools will not get same amount of parental involvement to overcome what he called solvable issues.

So you think you are superior to the average hard working American?

You should move

Shoot. I have an elementary school that’s walking distance from my house, but I gotta cut a check to send my kid to catholic school.

My kid could walk to Episcopal but damn I don't want to pay more in tuition.
We are zoned for a decent elementary school but middle and HS are garbage.

Yep. Moved to Spanish Town from Brooklyn with xivette a few months ago. It’s great being back home.
Most people think that not a whole lot goes on in Baton Rouge, but when every parade and festival is walking distance from da crib, and when all my alma mater’s sporting events are a 20-minute levee bike ride away (+ free parking a few feet from the gate amirite), I feel like the richest man in the whole world.
Speaking of bikes, I’ve seen about every square foot of the old city from the cyclist’s perspective, and you can shite on me all you want, but you suburb baws (subaws) are missing out. There’s enough room in this town that if decent folk like y’all filled it out, then the entire city changes immediately, presumably for the better.
People have realized this in all the big cities where white flight has pretty much reversed its pattern, and cities the size of Baton Rouge are in that next tier. It’s gonna happen. But if you wanna spend the rest of your life commuting an hour to work so that your Jadens can go to school with other Jadens, that’s up to you.
ETA: I’m not having a beer with you.
