Many here didn't let a thing like that get in the way portraying Zimmerman like a model citizen.
Was Zimmerman the guy that was resisting arrest? I get so confused by what narrative I should be buying into.

Dude had more arrests than years of age and is being treated like this. No wonder the black community has a problem with appropriate role models.

What does it matter, we're judging these guys on their arrest record than what incident really made them famous.
but for the record, Zimmerman was charged for resisting arrest.
Sterling may have been a bad apple, but bad cop work is bad cop work.

What bad cop work happened in Sterling's case?

I wish I had a subscription to the Advocate, so I could cancel it and blame it on this shite.

All Sterling had to do was throw his fricking gun on the ground and get on his knees as soon as the cops pulled up instead of trying to prove whatever the frick he thought he would prove by being an a-hole.

I was at Shrimp and Petroleum festival when that drunk bastard killed Princess Diana.
Events you remember and whatnot.

Let's run down the facts.
Sterling resists originally.
Cops tased him multiple times, he still resisted.
They get him to the ground, he still resists.
They tell him not to reach, he moves anyway.
Sterling has a gun in the pocket on the side he was reaching for.
For good measure we can add in that the cops clearly didn't want to shoot him based on their reactions.
So where exactly is the bad cop work in those facts?

I'm constantly amazed that people actually believe white cops are just out to kill black men. Notice I said men and not people. If it was a race issue don't you think they'd be popping black women too? Black men in this country have a real problem and it's not white cops.

Thank goodness for this so I could be there while not missing work.
That's how these jokes work, right?
No, you made the joke about yourself having a job, showing the contradiction of those attending not having a job.
The standard joke relies on the joke maker assuming that those in question do have jobs and inquiring into the nature of said jobs and how their absence could be explained. The punchline being that, of course, they do not have jobs. It's hilarious every time!!!

I appreciate you clearing that up for me.
That was my first time making a joke like that and I had a feeling I might do it incorrectly.

I didn't day there was bad cop work, and you don't really know what the facts are especially when dead men can tell no tales.
I'm sure these officers will be cleared after the investigation.
The point I was making was if Sterling is defined as a thug piece of shite becuase of his arrest record, why wasn't Zimmerman? Down in the political cellar he was hailed as a model American despite domestic abuse and fighting with the cops in his past.
