Explain to us how The Advocate would know you've opened the paper & read it? Complete B.S. "Commie" is a stretch but "left" & liberal" are right on. The editorial page has regular contributors from the Wash. post, the N.Y. Times, Chicago & the local contributor is as liberal as any liberal out there. Sutton from N.O. is just another typical dumb liberal.

I worked in the news/editorial department of The Advocate for nearly 25 years before retiring and watched its slow ease toward the left. And after the Manships sold it to the current regime it just entirely fell off a leftward leaning cliff.
A scant few of the men and women working there are conservative in their views. Most fit the ilk of their national counterparts — pure progressives who hate the majority of their readership.
Sports is trying to hold their spot but it too is indoctrinating it’s writers into frightened lambs too scared to speak up. Indeed they eased out several right leaning writers.

Growing up in the mid 1970s to mid 1980s, I raced to the curb as a kid, to get it, read the boxscores, look at the standings, read Jimmy, Hyams, Lee Feinswog, Sam King, etc..
