I did not, but, I wonder why that re-enactment event has never been repeated? You'd think that the WW2 museum or some other interest group might like to organize such an event.

I'm currently listening to Supreme Commander by Ambrose... The stuff toward the end of the war is very interesting

Agree. The stories of the Race to Berlin(for example) are fascinating.

Watching the replay on cspan. Some of those guys nearing 100 could pass for 20 or 30 years younger.

I went to the WW2 museum and listened to the big band music. There was one WW2 veterans in the entire group of people. The band played for an hour. This old guy danced with the women their for all but two songs. He was amazing.
