Just don't put fricking orange juice in it.

I made the switch to brown sugar and pecans. Way more flavor. I can't get enough of it.

The last few times I've had it with marshmallows, it also had pecans.

One year we took the leftover casserole, mixed it up, made it into patties, floured and fried it, then ate it with a scoop of ice cream. It is insanely good and terrible for you.

best recipe for sweet potato casserole,

1. Pick up said casserole from table
2. Drop said casserole into trash can
3. Serve real mashed potatoes

Try this..Boudin and sweet potato pie.

Squeeze 2 or 3 links of boudin into the pie crust and spread evenly, cover it with the sweet potatoes, add brown sugar and pecans.

It’s a fantastic sweet/salty pie.

It’s become a tradition at my house. Guess the sweet potato casserole. Some years I put marshmallows, some not, some with pecans, so not, some with everything. Mostly it depends on what I forgot to buy at the grocery.
