Still your son and his friends need to learn it's not ok to just go around knocking on peoples windows.

Dude, they are 11 year olds. I did way worse at that age.

If it'd have been my window they knocked on, I'd go check it out, give a chuckle, and go sit back down on the couch. But i'm lazy.

That's really the main reason I even posted this story. To watch people like Rio come out of the woodworks. I have to assume most of these people are just putting on a show to help with our enjoyment. At least I hope that's what they're doing. Of course, Rio could be my neighbor.

Next time you or a family member have an emergency and need to go to the ER, I think you should look at the doctor and say this. Even better if one of you gets in a really bad accident, you should say this to the orthopedic surgeon who is on trauma call.

Sounds like your kids learned a lesson. There are idiots out there that don't play that. Glad it didn't go bad. ETA: people are stupid these days. You can't do shite like that anymore . Kids have been killed for rolling a house. I would advise not to participate in such things. Not worth the risk. This post was edited on 5/30 at 10:44 pm

Nah. I have a good feeling you and I find two different areas appealing to live in.

I'm more of a big city downtown person.

The neighbor in question overreacted but the kids learned one of life's lessons that hopefully will prevent them from doing something stupid/criminal in the future. Good luck.

I'd love the big city if I were single, or childless. I have too many offspring to be dealing with that though. Plus, it's harder for them to cause trouble to the neighbors if we lived downtown.

As long as they brought me back a slurpee, their punishment would be minimized.

I seriously doubt Dale will have to do a whole lot other than to say he is one of the kids fathers and look at the guy. I suspect that in and of itself will provoke apologies. Lesson learned all around.... 1. Kids need to be careful as to who they prank...may be a psycho, and 2. Men should be careful whose kid/wife they insult......could be Dale Murphy....
