Some crazy deals on ebay right now. Several Breguet Classiques in yellow gold for under $7000.

Does anyone know what happened with Adler’s and Patek? I guess they lost their AD status?

They haven't had Patek for a good long while. They could work through some type of "alliance" with Zadok in Houston to fix a client up, but LMFJ has been the only Patek Dealer in a huge geographic area betwenn DFW/HOU, KCMO to the north and ATL to the east. No other dealers in Ark,MS, Ala or the Florida Gulf and Atlantic Coast.
They lost Rolex (as well as Nomos and Cartier) in 2024 and the story on why that happened depends on who you ask.
Speaking of Nomos, here is today's wristcheck: Zurich Worldtimer Nachtblau. Not a true GMT, poorly legible, but elegantly done and a real looker if you ask me.

Early 2024, I believe...there is a thread over on TRF, and I think one on r/Rolex. The TRF thread has cross posters with this site for sure, not sure about the Reddit thread. The thread comes out firinig on one particular guy from Adler's that some here may know, and he has some apparent proxies (or alters) defending him. I knew the guy and did business with him, always felt like he treated me on the up and up, I won't pile on because I have no firsthand knowledge that would make me do so.

Three watch collection with dressy sport, diver, and field. The one thing that has become a deal breaker for me in the last two years is a lack of on the fly adjustable clasp. I honestly don't know why all modern models have not included this feature. Some iterations are better than others but they're ALL better than the micro adjust holes. Tudor has gotten on board finally with the T-Fit. If they can fix a few things with their Ranger, it will be my next purchase over the Explorer with the EZ Link.

It’s a feature my Speedy doesn’t have, though Omega recently released a new clasp that does. I found the part number and talked with a few different dealers last year trying to source the new clasp, but it was a bit of a hassle. One said it wasn’t compatible, one said they couldn’t get it, one was just confused by my request, and another was ordering it for me but I never heard anything after.
Hasn’t been an issue over the winter, but I’m sure it will come up again soon. I should reach back out and hopefully the part is more available now. Or I might just need to a) deal with it, b) get the spring bar tool out on occasion, or c) just swap it back to a nato for the summer.

I'm dangerously close to joining the NATO fanboi guild.
My only remaining concern is whether it'll start stinking or not.

I don’t wear one everyday, so I can’t comment on that. When I do wear one in the heat and/or during strenuous activity, and if it gets nasty, I just wash it in warm soapy dishwater and rinse on cold water and let it dry. Then it’s back to like new.

Sure hope they are compatible for you. I've figured should I opt for the Explorer I'd grab the discontinued 39mm 214270 which is 100% compatible with the 116610/114060 Sub Glidelock clasp. The clasps/bracelets are readily available on Chrono24 so I'll blaspheme the Explorer and mount the Sub clasp for the adjustability. Besides, I'm a fan of a longer clasp as I think they balance the watch on the wrist.

I'm at the point that I won't buy another watch on bracelet without some type of on the fly micro adjust. It's an innovation I literally won't live without.
ETA: speaking of on the fly micro, today is the BBPro. I like the new opaline dial one, but think I still prefer the vintage feel of this one. The 226570 polar will come home one day, and I don't think the opaline BBPro changes that.

I’m not sure how I would feel about the longer clasp, but glidelock is definitely one of the best quick adjust systems out there. It lets you keep the sizing perfectly dialed in.
It would be nice if the standard oyster clasp had like a 4-5 position glidelock instead of easylink.

I bought a knockoff glide lock for a NTH sub. I love that bracelet. But the length of the clasp does kind of take up the whole bottom side of my wrist.

Panerai 292 Radiomir Black Seal for casual Friday (which I almost never get to engage in). It is on a dark green strap with extra stitching that I ran across in my strap portfolio last week, I have no idea where it came from.

I think there is a mini glide lock of sorts on one of the new Yachtmasters. That would be perfect for the Explorer line.
