Presumably he agrees with the "parents should not have the final say" part.

That's all this thread was ever about.

You want your kid to take cosmetology class? You want drag queens there? Fine. I can admit that there are some pretty happy, well-adjusted people for whom that might work.

This thread isn't about them. It's about the people whose children might be forced into this, Cultural Revolution-style.

Went further, even to suggest that the "community" knows more about what's good for the kids than parents.

I have a one year old who'll never darken the doors of a school that would bring in a drag queen or anything similar. And I'll meet both of you pieces of shite at the Sonic, right now. Name the location. I'll leave the trannybat at home. don't need.

It's not the States job to instill values or raise your kid. This s what the teacher was saying and you're defending.

Of course commies think otherwise.

I was just pointing out the irony that many say that but want to use the state to instill the values they agree with.

In this specific incident I’d say there’s a case to be made that banning the guest speaker from the school grounds despite being appropriately clothed, a subject area expert and sticking to the topic would be a much stronger state driven values based agenda than simply letting the person speak to the class.

I honestly cannot understand how women are not appalled and offended by drag queens. They’re literally absurd mockeries of womanhood.

Do you agree with the teacher?

Because that's the only point I've made, that the teacher is a fricking loon.

Unfortunately that attitude is prevalent in public schools.

Yep

It's nothing more than what a pathetic liberal does for the sole purpose of trying to piss people off.

They don't actually give a frick about Trannies. Trannies are just human weapons for crazed leftists

Because it is the reality teachers have to deal with. Even white upper middle class parents are not instilling the values we geezers grew up with. So teachers have to not only teach academics but also teach civility, honesty, consideration of others, etc.

The entire point of being a cross-dresser is sexual perversion and gender disruption. He may not have "said anything" but the whole point of that endeavor is to "say something."

And that's the problem. People can do what they want, but this is "saying something" and implicating something on children. That isn't cool.

Implicating something on children? You probably need to go back to school.

So I can't sport my porn mussy anymore?

Is this some more of this "family values" crap, on steroids?

It's not the job of the State to indoctrinate children.

Imagine If Donald Trump had said what the teacher said, word for word?

The ideological discussion would flip.

The teacher is an idiot and probably shouldn't be teaching in public school.

1) Much less obvious than a cross-dresser
2) Yeah, that would be a problem if you were advocating on school campuses on how to properly sport a porn stache and why they were cool

The state has always indoctrinated children. The difference is it has always been a right wing indoctrination so your ilk was silent. As soon as the state education started to reflect the values of all society, the whining from the right began.

Then you know teachers have no say over curriculum. The State Board of Education dictates what is taught.
