I've heard gunshots in the daytime in the seedy little hood across the street from Love field, about a hundred yards or less from Lake Bachman(?)
When my boys were little, we'd go to the Bachman Lake park just north of Love Field. If the wind was out of the South, we'd feed the ducks and watch the incoming jets flyover.
Apparently, this may not be as good an idea today.

definitely not chin, that area is a war zone now, walking around that area now you'll see used syringes on the ground, 9mm shell casings, human feces, all the other type filth left strewn around by the vermin that inhabit that 'hood

Sure, but at least you can get up to $750 of free stuff before you have to worry about getting arrested.

still can't believe that idiot made that his policy, it's okay to steal, as long as it's just essentials
ETA: you may get arrested but the DA won't prosecute if the amount is less than or equal to $750, iirc

Love Field is a few miles away from the most expensive area in Dallas Proper
And the area around it is mostly a shithole.

Oddly enough so is the area around those nice arse hospitals.
Which is essentially the same area.
Yall are fricked down there. Million Dollar homes one block, crack heads the next.
Just come move up this way with all the other white people TH.
Yeah I said it.

It's a shithole, but this is greatly exaggerated. When was the last time you were in that area?

Low income, sure, but the bad crime isn't really there. It's usually hardworking Mexicans who live in those rundown spots. Parking lots full of people looking for work.
It's no fair park or oak cliff.

within the last year and a half, and it will be the last time I will even come to a complete stop around there if I have to drive through it

My handyman lives over there and I occasionally have to go pick him up. The neighborhood is fine. I've never had any problems over there.

I drive through it daily. Worked in the area for about a year. Still work close to the area. It's perfectly fine, just older, more run down, and Mexican.

that's not the part I was referring to, generally, those are good people, and as a couple have alluded, you can be in an "okay" area on a block, and a block or two away you're in the combat zone

If you aren't talking about Mexicans, you're talking about a different area entirely.
Orange is Hispanic, blue is white, green is black, and red is Asian
