The whole situation is dumb. The guy wants to compete against other men, but is not allowed due to texas law. The law needs to allow for transitioning females to compete against other males just not the other way around.

I don't understand the rules here. A girl who wants to be a boy taking steroids wrestles girls. Elsewhere a biological boy who wants to be a girl fights girls. Basically everyone beat up normal biological girls.

I agreee with you but I also don't mind these oddballs competing against other genders if the testosterone levels and muscle density are similar.
If this kid in the OP had been off of testosterone for a year or two, she could compete against women in the Olympics. Other organizations require gender reassignment surgery prior to competing.

The IOC has addressed this in 2015 and set policy which employs a good bit of good ole common sense with science.

No one was forced into anything. She decided to wrestle and the rules state she wrestles with the girls because she was born female.
