I see in your photo the name brand of two supplements. Ax and Iron Brothers. What is the name of the one on front left

Hunter Test. I remember doing a ton of research on these types of supplements. These had the most comprehensive of everything online. Hunter had some good deals.

What about the pellet guy below?

pellets are supposed to be time released. and ftr there is the under...what ever ester that is very slow and is fine with every other week injections but the most common is enanthate and cypionate which have ~4.5 days, hence why best practice is 2x weekly using subq shots.

and you dont need 200mg/week or atleast 90% of people dont. for 90% of the people somewhere between 100-150mg a week will be the sweet spot.

If you are looking at HUNTER Test, be on the lookout for deals. I bought 2 and got 2 free. I just checked their website and it’s buy 3 get 1 free.

Download some of those extensions for your browser. There’s HIPPO, Rakuten, coupnBind, Coupert, RetailMeNot, and even an Amazon Assistant. There’s more out there. I can’t remember which one, but when you are in checkout for a specific item, it does a scan to find the best deal and applies it right there

I’ve also found that you can get better deals just going to the actual website for the product instead of just buying from Amazon. Liquid IV is like that

I had to beg my GP to include testosterone in my annual physical a few years ago. I had no symptoms or reason for checking but wanted to establish a baseline similar to cholesterol and other metrics.

I’m 40ish and levels were just below that wide range for my age. I felt like I was near the best shape of my life, great energy, no ED issues, etc so did nothing.

Had it checked again at next physical and it was 250, which was the lowest of the range for my age.

I plan to do something about it eventually but hopefully not until I experience symptoms. I admit it’s hard to resist the temptation of getting that extra boost with workouts or energy that I’m sure would come with it.

cypionate which have ~4.5 days,

package insert says 8 days

Half-life
The half-life of testosterone cypionate is one of the longest, being approximately of 8 days

Cmax is 3-4 days. Maybe that is what you are confusing and that is why folks like to cut the doses to 2x a week. But a general rule is meds take 5-6 half lives for steady state, so once you are 40-48 days in, you will have a steady level if you don't change the dose. this is also why they will recheck 6 weeks in.

I've had my first shot (150mg, so not the full vial). hardly noticeable, except what I perceived as some appetite suppression, which makes sense, because glycemic control is one of the only objective early responses.
Very good german study which revealed what happens when. Linked on most TrT sites Takes a few weeks to months to really see impacts.

My provider explained the theory of high cortisol levels essentially stealing testosterone precursors, that is why folks here mention cortisol. Theory is plausible.

Estrogen is a concern, as my provider also counseled that I may need to start aromatase inhibitors in the future. This is a class of drugs used mostly in women with hormone receptor positive (estrogen or progesterone receptor) breast cancer. So yes, may have to take an anti-cancer drug, though it is also used in high-risk women as prophylaxis against breast cancer.

I am also starting Growth Hormone soon. There are now formulations where it can be compounded, so the super expensive shots will fade away and it will be more accessible to folks hopefully. I am doing it for weight lose mostly, but I am close to being in metabolic syndrome/pre-diabetes, controlled hypertension, so the risk-benefit to me seems worth it. I'm around 5'11, 210 (BMI of 29, so overweight but close to obesity). Energy levels slumped, libido, happily has been intact before this first shot. Sleep apena, with cpap, but disturbed sleep that can't be avoided due to illness in house.

I'm older than 50 as well, so less long term risk then a 30 year old.
Goal for me is some weight loss, lipid control, and increased energy to do the increased exercise needed. Get off the GH asap, switch to pellets at some point if long term TrT happens, not a fan of the needles to be honest. Hoping this is a bit of a reset, lifestyle wise as well. Money and needles will incentivize you. Have already switched to more of a pescatarian/Mediterranean diet, minus the high-fat shrimp, exercising everyday, with some weight-lifting days mixed in slowly to increase with stamina.

Just following up, I just picked up iolo System Mechanic Pro for $20 with RetailMeNot because of a 70% coupon. Was normally $70.

Between the 5 add-on coupon extensions I have I usually get good deals. Hell, I am going to look up Hunter right now.

While technically correct it's effectively gone by day 4.

Inject .40ml of a 200 vile subq every three days. Much better return on investment. I've been doing this for 14 years. I was the first patient in my docs office to try subq as well as the 3 days cycle. She let me but I had to bring back notes and she upped my bloodwork. I've played with dosing for that long. Last 3 have been subq.

Also take a compounded estrogen blocker 12 hours after the test injection. Spike in estrogen lags test by 12 hours. Take a baby dropper to dose the blocker it's so low. You have to get your dosage right on that. I keep my estrogen around 22-25. I take .5 less than I do of the test.

If you lose a lot of weight you'll need to adjust your dosing. It does depend on body weight to some degree. Everyone is different. When I was really doughy and fat before I lost 45 lbs I was taking more. When I lost the weight my total T went way over 1000.

I like it at 700-800.

Watch your red blood cell count. May have to donate blood if it gets to thick.

Also a good example of why you should take pictures. Sometimes you don’t realize how big you are getting when you lift hard every day.

Taking 1/2 ml of 200mg/ml test cyp injected weekly is standard dosing. Blue sky peptide sells liquid anastrazole. Take .25 mg orally couple times a week to control estradiol levels. Buy the 1 ml measuring syringe for oral dosing. Also supplement 50 mg dhea and 50mg pregnelone daily per Dr Crisler protocol. Have PSA test run every 6 months with regular bloodwork.

Are you some kind of doctor or something? You seem to know a lot about it. Anyway, I think I’m getting some good info here. I don’t think I’m in need of shots yet.

Been on test cyp over 10 years. Weekly self injections. A 10ml vial at 1/2 ml a week lasts 5 months. Cost $80. Cheaper than pellets or the cream. Very effective.
