cars will be parked there for 7-8 hours.

Hotels is where these things should be. Not at gas stations.

Hotels are a better option for a bunch of level 2 chargers. These are the fast ones that belong on the highway for road trip fast charging.

Teslas are cool. Why do any of you motherfrickers care if Hilton has Tesla chargers?

I’ve read that nearly half of all UK citizens drive EVs

They are more practical in the UK. The entire country is about the size of Colorado and more urbanized. Gas prices there are also outrageous

US is vast and EVs aren’t practical for people outside of cities or people who must travel on the road a lot. Not with current technology and charging infrastructure

yeah they got a charging station at the church in our neighborhood but I always see cars and trucks parked at it. To be fair, it's a better spot than the handicapped parking!

It won’t in its current state.

We need to invest in more nuclear energy. Zero emissions, cheap, and efficient. If we keep shutting DOJ coal and gas plants in favor of only solar and wind, and keep increasing EVs, it will be a disaster. Nuclear is the way to cheap and abundant electricity with no emissions

This. We have nuclear plants now that can support additional reactors. We need to invest in those.

New gas units are coming online everyday and there's a huge spike in nuclear interest since it got a fresh subsidy. We'll see if that's enough to go to war with the NIMBYs.
