that will only be good for towing an empty trailer.

Musk is gonna feel like an idiot when he realizes this!!!

Nevermind that the overwhelming majority of trucks are not filled to capacity like you'd think so there actually is room for batteries...if that's the angle you were playing up? I think the number was 84% if I recall of trucks that go out below capacity.

I mean, if he's trying to say Elon Musk hasn't done anything, I definitely don't want that spotlight shone on me.

That idea...it's not good.

What don't you see?

ETA: shite, nevermind. You were the originator of the "What has he done?" comment. Of course you don't see it.

You want to find someone who truly pioneered a market without taking freebies from taxpayers? Google Forrest L. Wood.

How did he pioneer a market?

I didn't realize that only 1 person in America could have the honor of pioneering a market.

My bad, carry on.

If the internet was around, imagine how you would have been calling Mr Wood a fraud in 1970 when his product sold a whopping 1200 units!!!

He pioneered a market with boats, therefore Musk cannot hold the title of pioneering an EV market....ya know since Forrest Wood has that bass fishing boat market down.

Makes perfect sense when you think about it.

See, I can give credit to a funny joke when I still disagree with someone.

That was fantastic.

Hopefully CAD is taking notes.

Said this in one of the threads we had last few weeks about seitching to all electric cars.

Every electric car built uses rare earth metals for the magnets. There are2-3 primary ones, and there isnt much production outside of China at the moment.

Add on top of that, its called RARE earth metals for a reason.

Seems like a bad idea for so many companies/countries to go into this market if we're going to run out soon.

What am I missing?
