Is this thread where people come up with random nonsense about Tesla to explain why their F350 is better?
Maybe for some.

First: The model you're looking for is the Ferrari F360
Second: The model in your picture is an F430

No shite.
I feel he was talking about a Ford 350.

I guess the joke went over my head.
It's not like you posted a pic of a Ferrari 350...

Until someone can charge up on the go for long road trips, electric will never become feasible for a large chunk of Americans.

So basically you're making things up on the fly to fit your political narrative. Keep believing that Nissan Titans are relevant technology that should be subsidized by the government while simultaneously believing that all electric vehicles are irrelevant technology that should not be subsidized.
I mean really, the hypocrisy is amazing but par for course.
Sounds like somebody doesn't know how subsidies work.

Uhh...just because it isn't profitable today(it probably will be this year), that makes it irrelevant?

Basically all the poor people hyped about getting a $35,000 tesla for that $7500 subsidy will be getting a $35,000 car for $35,000 bc the subsidies will be gone by the time the car comes out bc like i mentioned in the other thread only the first 200k cars tesla delivers will get it. So whatever they've delivered now + whatever they deliver in the next 2 years + all the fully loaded model 3 cars + all the model 3s that go to existing wealthy people who have an S or X.........regular people looking for a regular $35k car will more than likely be paying full price.

Also electrical generation is still much more efficient than burning gasoline but whatever.
Is it?
The capability and economies of scale of gasoline vs. other energy sources are truly remarkable. A gallon of gasoline has enough energy density to power an iPhone every day for a couple decades. That's why the range is so much better on gasoline cars. It's going to take some pretty insane advances in lithium ion technology to compete with that.

What's nuts is you guys legit think Tesla is "groundbreaking". If Mercedes,Audi,BMW,Ford,Chevrolet really truly wanted to launch into the electric space they are more than capable of making a splash, they just dont care about a niche market like electric cars. Those companies are more than capable of generating the cash to dive into that market. What they can't do secondary after secondary like Elon???? You think Mercedes Benz with all its history and profitability is just going to sit there and roll over and die bc Tesla just launched the model 3 and every single hipster on earth is gonna buy one? You guys are nuts, electric cars are not mainstream nor will they be in any way. Whats the global population? A shade over 7 Billion people and what percentage of those people live on under $5/day? In the scope of the whole world we are the 1% even those of you who make $40-50k. The reality is, globally yes 150k people or whatever ordered this car yesterday but LOL at any of you guys who think this car or this manufacturer is ever going to be mainstream within 30+ years. Even in the US the bulk of the cars you see on the road are worth well under $15k and this $35k base, $75k fully loaded car is not about to change a thing. I'll be sure to bookmark this thread and come back to discuss this with the guys who think im going to be out of business within a decade bc cheap $35k electric cars are arriving in 2 years.

What is your business? Gas station owner?
Name one person who has said what you are claiming.

They care do little that they've all dropped 10s of millions if not more into developing plug in vehicles.

Not to mention that Tesla is kind of counting on it. For some reason he thinks Tesla needs to be in every household to be successful

According to the EIA base case, gasoline portion of tranportation energy demand CAGR will be a full -1% from 2020 to 2040! Better replace those gas pumps with plugs!!
There are a multitude of variables in play working against the EV market. Take for example the huge tradeoff in battery range and the torque required for more heavy duty or industrial-type purposes.
A more realistic/prosaic take by some of the supermajors is that hybrids will grab a bigger chunk of the market share for consumer demand in the future, which along with urbanization, explains the slight downward trend. Sure, a major breakthrough or series of advancements could happen that could upend the internal combustion engine and replace it. But right now, constraints in economics and physics make some of these claims about the imminent obselecence of gas stations in their present form a severely uphill battle.
Technophiles are almost as annoying and emotional as environmentalists.

I understand that your passive income allows you to start drinking early on Friday but Jesus Christ none of that makes any sense. Who in these 6 pages has suggested that Tesla is going to take over for the Big 3 in a decade, or ever? I think the thesis here is that it's an innovative, interesting and good niche product that they just sold 140,000 of. It's not bad for anyone, really.

Well some dude told him his gas stations will be obsolete in 10 years.
Another guy last night compared internal combustion engines vs. EV to horses vs. cars.
