To demonstrate how tough the glass is, they threw a ball at the window, it broke. They tried it again at the back window, it also broke.

Yep, starting at under $40k is impressive.

And the $70k version having 500+ mile range and 0-60 in 2.9 is insane. Faster than a Porshe and would easily outpull any comparable pickup. This truck could have been a serious contender if it just looked normal. The way that truck looks...no chance.

I'm sure there are others, but when you think of big company unveils/presentations, this has to be an all time worst, or up there.

That happened so early in the presentation, he had to complete the rest with 2 shattered windows.

It was so hilariously bad.



I've been working the wife to put a deposit on this one for a while now and about 10 minutes before the livestream she relented, and then was pretty excited to see it. Needless to say, I will not be placing that deposit.

I'd drive it. Cheaper than a lot of trucks on the market now

It’s certainly...interesting. But nobody should be surprised at the power of electric motors now. They’re amazing in some respects.

Why is high strength glass even a big deal? Of all the things Tesla should focus on, the windshield seems unimportant.

For the record, I drive a Tesla Model 3...not exactly what you'd call a Baw vehicle. And it's, ya know. a Tesla. So yea, nice try. But you whiffed really badly there


None of that matters, this truck looks awful.
