First slaves arrived in the US in 1619 and were freed in 1865. Is that 400 years, Terrance?
You can’t force that White construct on him too.
When will it ever end?

Not to mention the US as we know it didn’t exist 400 years ago..

I wonder how much cotton he picked for no pay to make such a claim.

If you aren’t like midnight black then aren’t you also a descendent of someone who wasn’t a slave?

Well.. Sticking to the argument, they weren’t taxed either. Same thing happens now. You don’t earn anything? Not taxed.

Uhh. Yea. Sound defensive strategy it sounds like he has.
“Mr Howard. We have proof of all of your income, your tax filings, and the entire tax code. We have made all the calculations per the code with people trained in accountancy and verified by people trained in law. What have you to say?”
“Nope. I don’t owe you!! You owe me. Cause I said so!”
“Uhh.. well. Ok then. Looks like a pretty short trial we have here.”
I guess he is being represented by Snipes, Nelson, Rule, and Cage.

I’m calling you out as the poster on this, but it’s really about a mindset that is pervasive on this site.
As a “sports guy” in New Orleans, I guess you follow the two major professional franchises, the majority of the players for those teams being “the race of peace” as you say. It’s the same for this board in general, with the primary draw being LSU football where again, the majority of the players are in what you call “the race of excuses”.
It all boils down to dehumanizing people. It’s clear that for a significant number of the posters here, they clearly believe that is “ok”. Some are more open about it. Others hide behind yogi and boo-boo to do it.
At some point though, “good” people have to call this racist crap out.
I’ll also add, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous for Terrance Howard to use slavery as an excuse for his violating the law by failing to pay his taxes. In fact, I think people who support the idea of reparations should actually be upset because his actions are demeaning
to that cause.
