One prison...last sentence
"Of the 2,725 total tests given at the facility this week, at least 1,349 came back positive, according to CoreCivic, the national private corporation that runs Trousdale Turner."
"I think the one difference with us is we've decided to go ahead and test the whole population."
"Just two of the inmates who tested positive exhibited symptoms, CoreCivic said in a statement, and both are being treated at a nearby hospital"
Commercial Appeal

All Tennessee inmates and correction staff will be tested for the coronavirus as part of a new widespread initiative to mitigate the spread of the virus amid multiple massive prison outbreaks in the state, Gov. Bill Lee announced on Friday
How about not letting prisoners escape instead?

Counting the cases in the Bledsoe County facility, more than 2,000 positive cases in the prison system. That’s a third of Tennessee’s active cases.

Why do we even give a rats arse about prisoners testing positive. All it shows is shelter in place is not working.

Ah, I've wondered why Bledsoe County has so many cases (594 cases/ 12k population). It must be the state prison there.

They took the Police Tape off the Jungle Gyms in Nashville today.
Only saw a couple kids, but they looked really, really happy.

We don't except that these tests show (1) that this thing is everywhere, and (2) that the vast majority of people who get it don't even know it. These experiments ought to open some eyes and cause us to reboot out whole response to this virus.

We’ve had drive thru testing for a long time now.
Would wager Tennessee has tested a higher % of their population than just about any other state
