It's a chemical imbalance in the brain.

the only one I know took a hammer to her roommates door one time, stripped down at the beach and rode a bull, and then when her ex boyfriend got engaged she sent a video of her fingering herself and then ex boyfriend blowing coke off her arse out to the new fiance and some other people. She later changed her name.

This was my experience.

All this sounds like girls with BPD, maybe they are closely related conditions. But I dated a girl sounds just like this and she left something around that said she had been diagnosed with BPD and all her appropriate meds. But maybe BPD is like bi polar on steroids, i'm not a shrink I don;t know

had one over at my apartment and she wanted to stay the night, but I was trying to get her to leave because I had to be at work at 5:30am. When it's almost the time we agrees for her to leave she goes into the other room on her phone and comes back crying and tells me she just found out one of her friends was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend. Of course I let her stay after that to comfort her. One month after that she went on a week long beach trip with the friend that she said got murdered.

That ain't bipolar. Sounds like borderline.

Fricked quite a few. Most of them, i believe, know they are undateable. Had one, who i never met, come to my apartment one day and go on a rave about how she was going to be a doctor. Then, she banged me and swore she was going to be a doctor, AGAIN, in tears, crying. FWIW, dont bang neighbors, especially bipolar, they will make your life miserable.

I knew one who went from wanting to get tattoos for each other to never wanting to speak to me again within a week. With no intervening fight.

But, as others have said, some aspects were good.

No they're separate, bipolar is under the mood disorder umbrella. Borderline is a personality disorder, grouped with the narcissistic, antisocial disorders etc.

From what I've seen, people with Bipolar disorder won't just flip a switch on demand like that in a matter of minutes like the OP described. I'm not a psychatrist but I do see these kind of patients where I work. I just had a bad patient experience with this last week, she just flipped on me in a matter of seconds when she didn't get what she wanted.

With bipolar disorder, they can sustain that manic behavior for days on end without rest, not necessarily tied to a particular trigger. When they're on, they're on and can't turn it off.

So is there even a reason why they freak out on you or is it just because?
When they're drunk, you can bet your arse they are gonna go nuts. Other times, they don't take their meds and go nuts. Either way, all they want is to get dicked down and nothing else
