Going to New Orleans this weekend and this is on the agenda. What's this place all about? What can I expect?

went last weekend, its laid back and has some pretty good food. But 2 of the more popular vendors just moved out i read today

theres also a bar with real bartenders

Gentrifying area that's still hood. Don't go north of the market or stay out past midnight and you'll be fine.

they had live music last sunday when i went. 2 guys playing a violin and guitar i think.

nice atmosphere overall

It's a bunch of food vendors in a 'nice' cramped setting with a bar. Foods fine but if you're expecting some cool scene with stuff to do ie music you'll be let down
