I remember Hill, Williams and Jenkins for sure.

Different times back when I was there. We used to dip in PE and the teachers didn't gaf

I have a lot of fond memories of that place.

Stay away. The school is not what it was 10 years ago and before that. The elementary is okay because it's small so the kids don't get lost in the wash, but they lack technology and have no leadership. They are pinching pennies waiting on FEMA money. Idiots running that place now. Avoid.

I went there too so yeah

I don’t know how the school is now.

My aunt and uncle worked their butts off for free along with other parents to send my cousins there in the 60’s or 70’s.
My aunt drove a bus and uncle worked on the buses for free.
I believe she said they even sanded the floors on a gym along with the other parents who helped get the school off the ground.

I am sure the leadership is a lot different today than it was in the 60’s or 70’s. It was originally started to give parents a choice of a Baptist Regilious based education versus a public school education at that time.

Baseball succeeded well after Achord left. They hired one of the best and he won 3-4 more state championships. Most impressive was the one after the departure of achord and a bunch of kids.

I graduated in ‘06. I remember Hill, Williams, and Jenkins. I started in 8th grade and had Mr. Billy as my first principal. I’ll never forget the paddle he showed me in his office the first time I met him lol
