it would be a lot cooler if they still had the golf course. Who shuts down an entire golf course to only build on the back 9? at least let me go get 9 in after work. women are so inconsiderate

ETA- good neighborhood. it also connects to pecue in the back so it makes getting to the highland, perkins, and burbank areas easier

It's a nice subdivision in a safe area. I think there's a couple of ways to exit through Woodridge.

Pecue Ln is about to get a new single point urban interchange, so that probably means more retail and amenities will open in the area.

So there is more than one way in and out? Not just airline HWY??

No. The Airline thing should be an obvious deal killer. Unless you are from Similar spots in Nola- then it will just remind you of home.

Briarwood is a GREAT subdivision and has an additional exit to Pecue Lane via Woodridge

My wife grew up in Briarwood. I am very familiar with that subdiv.

Op, you'd enjoy it bro. Especially if you are purchasing a house from the first phase of it's development

Little known tidbit about Briarwood that might scare you off though:

One of the BR serial killer's victims was attacked at her home in Briarwood

I couldn't do it personally. It's like living in an industrial area as soon as you pull out . It was on my " will not consider " list when I bought. But to each his own, there are certainly some nice homes back there.

What I like about the Briarwood subdivision is that the homes do not look "cookie-cutter" and are on good lot sizes.

The homes have been well maintained (for the most part)

All the real estate agents that live in Woodridge are either moving or have moved. That is a sign that something is happening.

Very little on the market in that area and they are nice houses but yes they are small lots and for the most part "cookie cutter".

Cashing out because their home values went up?

Woodridge has nice homes on postage stamp lots. That's why I prefer older subdivs. Gimme some room to breathe

You can get to Pecue through Woodridge.

There is going to be an interchange at the interstate in the near future. I expect Pecue will be widened between the interstate and Airline.

Forgot about that. DTL went after mostly upper/middle class white women.

They are finally turning dirt there. .
Much needed for Siegen and Highland relief.
