Yes literally there is. Read the fricking story dumbass.

The guy lifting had been warned by BuzzFit staff days prior to this incident, this was was not staff but a member and took matters into his own hands.

Well, there it is.

Some juice monkey got triggered by the noise and then went overboard. Glad to know he was banned.

If someone is being absurd with dropping weights I keep going on with my day. It's not my job to be gym enforcer. Stay in your lane.

Unless you know the people involved or know people from that gym, how would you know this?

“Took matters into his own hands”

To stop what, the crime of deadlifting and having the weights make a little sound as they hit the ground?

This shite reads like a Planet Fitness commercial

It's not his job to enforce gym rules. Simple stuff really.

Exactly, that’s what I meant by there’s more to the story.

And as I suspected there was.

Not saying juice monkey was right, but the millennial poster that said there was literally nothing more to the story can suck a dick

Dude wasn’t doing anything wrong IMO.

That juice monkey better hope he never comes workout out at my gym. He’s literally start crying like a bitch if he did.

i clicked the video expecting some ridiculous yeller doing more weight than he should and screaming while doing it. Once the guy kicked him with weight in the air, I would have hit the guy with a dumbbell. He could have seriously injured the guy lifting over doing a deadlift.

He should just tell a gym staffer.

But it certainly is my business if I pay for a gym membership and someone else is breaking the rules. Rules are there for several reasons, safety, keeping area clear for everyone to workout peacefully, preserve gym equipment wear and tear, and maximize workout freedom.

People who go to gyms that don't have concern for others are just the worst.

I've seen dudes go into saunas and spit right on the ground inside the sauna. It's mindblowing disrespectful.

But was the teenage kid breaking the rules?

Is the rule that the guy was apparently breaking reasonable though? Honest question. Isn't making some noise with the weights just a natural by-product of dead lifting? Or was he being particularly violent with the weights?

Isn't there noise with weights in general? Between people putting weights on and taking them off.. And just handling them in general, they make noise. The guy was banned so I assume he was in the wrong, but I am just curious as to why that set him off opposed to any other time when people are dealing with weights.

I agree with a noise rule for sure, not to mention loud clanking is a good sign you're treating the equipment like shite. I also think you can't leave it up to the individuals to police themselves, especially meatheads.

The guy should have got a staffer.

The noise wasn't THAT loud here, but were not hearing it at the same decibels as those within that gym.

Yes but there's a difference between a controlled setting the bar on the supports and meatheads who are lifting 300 pounds that practically toss the bar on to the supports.

I would say 9/10 if you just make the person aware and ask them nicely and calmly, they'll listen.

So you deadlift without making noise? What that guy was doing was perfectly acceptable for a deadlift.

Lol at the meathead lifting 300 lbs. That is fairly light weight for deadlifts. You should probably stay out of gyms all together if that bothered you.

The kid wasn't doing anything wrong. You can't deadlift without making some noise and he wasn't slamming or yelling. The man that was banned deserved to be punched in the throat. He only did that because he was older and bigger. frick that bitch.
