Yes. HPV can cause anal, penial, and throat cancer in men as well as them serving as "silent" carriers for it when they have sexual contact with women.

Mother frick. I took home so many whores back in my day, I'm almost certain I'm gonna be overtaken by this shite at any moment.

Isn't HPV the virus that causes warts?

Yes and no. There are many strains of HPV. Some cause genital warts, some cause cervical cancer. These are "in most cases" statements. The original Gardasil vaccine covered 4 subtypes- 2 that caused about 70% of cervical cancer and 2 that caused a lot of warts. It's either pulled or relatively unavailable, because they have a 9-valent (9 different virus strand containing....or proteins/bits of capsule/etc from 9 separate strains) version available. I admittedly don't know the breakdown of strands in that one, but I do know it's recommended by essentially all the groups that make vaccination recommendations over the previous version. If anyone would be interested in the breakdown, let me know and I'll read up on it and come back with better info.

Almost certainly not, actually. That's what makes STDs such great bugs, from an infectious standpoint. They more or less selectively express themselves in certain hosts for relatively unknown reasons. Being an asymptomatic carrier is common. That's why one person can infect 10, 50, 100, 1000 (not sure how many "so many" is in your case) people. Those 50-100 women would never sleep with (the generic) you if you had a large cauliflower growing on/near your penis, but you show no symptoms, frick like a bored college-aged rabbit, and the disease spreads, being as mild as nothing in some and cancer in others.

That's something that's not likely, but if that's the sort of thing you still like to do, getting it now may not be a bad idea. Insurance usually only pays from something like 11-24 or 26 because that's what the studies have shown to be effective, but probably any doc will write you the script and/or give it if you pay out of pocket (and if you're above the target range and still promiscuous, there's no formal recommendation from any big governing body, but in my group, we tend to be in favor of it).

They pay me in good feelings for stamping out disease and answering the questions of those who don't know how to look for the right info.

CDC published the Vaccines for Children cost at ~$150/dose. HPV9 is a 2-dose series. So for the question about adults getting it, it will depend on a couple of things, but you would be out of pocket probably $300-500 for the series.

cost/benefit analysis tells me that I won't get enough poon over the rest of my life to make it worthwhile...

Depends on whether it's organic and GMO.

Your 2nd question was the deciding factor in the risk assessment when deciding for my son. Ultimately I never wanted him to have to experience the reality of being responsible fore someone He may love to be sick from something he could be carrying without knowing.
