The girl was 14 to which the article refers. The girl was 13 whom he had pictures of without consent and admittedly fantasized about raping her. The other girls of whom he had secretly taking pictures were also underage . He was also in a relationship with a 17-year-old girl .
Like I said this appears to be more than just a trailer park relationship .

I don't know enough about it to speak in definite terms. In my experience, these type of cases are always more complicated then they appear in the papers. It's extremely difficult to go to trial with no witness (the underage person is not cooperating). Nonetheless, everything I've said has been in general.

I've seen judges put people in jail for 5 years of a suspended sentence for not keeping up with their fines (payment plan of like $100/month). Judges don't take it very well when you don't do what they say. I once saw a judge put a guy in jail for the full 10 years of suspended sentence for missing a report with his PO because he was on vacation out of state. I've also seen judges never do a thing. Depends entirely on the judge.

That is true. It's the no sentence at all except for no sex until marriage that is perplexing. I saw another article where the judge recommended a psychosexual evaluation. In fact he ordered it. I would be OK with a six-month sentence and the judge ordering whatever recommendations came from the psychosexual evaluation. If it is a true psycho-physiological sexual evaluation rather than just an interview and testing, then it will pick up on his penile reaction to images and such.

I've never seen that, nor am I failure with what it is. Sounds like some CSI shite. He does have several other conditions that could put him in jail. Commit another crime, he can get 15 with no trial + plus whatever he gets from the new crime (suspended sentences are great up front for a defendant as it keeps them out of jail, but it allows them to really hand themselves if they don't get right). I'm sure he has a no contact order. He'll also have a reporting period, and most likely will have to get a job or make passing grades as a full time student. That's pretty standard where I am.

One part is that they hook up sensors etc to the penis as well as other parts of the body. Various images are shown including very young girls and children. It basically measures strength of erections to various images

It's actually 16. They may have some Romeo and Juliet provisions like many states do, but 16 is the general age of consent, and this absolutely would be illegal in AL.

Not really . It's pretty hard science.
There's a ton of normative data. And in addition to strength of erection, latency of direction is also measured . His responses would be compared against a large normative sample
