Hate to break it to you, but unfortunately these things do exist..

Rape is such a sensitive subject. Many accusations are in fact false.. and yet many also go unreported and prosecuted.

I read some of the article and I can't really gather.

If people on periscope saw this and it's a situation of a drunk 17 year old girl and a guy taking advantage of her.. they very well may not have known it was an actual rape, her age, and the situation unfolding..

It's sad to think people actually would encourage rape behavior or get excited over that.. but there are definitely people who do.

You are correct that "me" is an object, but in this case than is a conjunction, not a preposition. Thus, to determine the proper pronoun, you look at the implied sentence - "You have way more faith in humanity than I have faith in humanity."

So I is correct.

The above is also correct, but it implies "You have way more faith in humanity than you have faith in me," which was not his intention. Ambiguity avoided. The do in I do is understood, frequently dropped and not incorrect.
