I'm sure they're thrilled to be back to banging kids as opposed to driving Uber like they have been doing all summer long.

Now I have to make another drink dammit

The issue is that not we have have a problem teaching your child how to read, write, and add 9 months out of the year-it’s that we have a problem instilling discipline (in most kids) when it should be taught be taught at home. It is EXHAUSTING to spend time teaching kids manners when parents are too damn lazy to it themselves.
I love my job-I teach elementary kids-I don’t complain the 9 months I work- or the weeks I get off with my family during the summer. But, shite, every single parent wants to act like like their kid has never done anything wrong. It’s a joke!
I grew up in BR and went to U-High and live/teach in Texas now. Don’t condemn a teacher for doing her her job. Most of them are doing stuff that you will never understand...at least I am and I’m not complaining about it.

How can you teach to read or write if you cant compose a coherent sentence?

Muh, I spent all summer decorating my classroom and had to spend $50 of my money to do it!

They don't have to spend much on supplies because they put what they need on the supply list and get the parents to buy it. Why does my daughter, who is going into Kindergarten, need two packs of dry erase markers? Not even multicolored ones, just the black ones.

Don't tell me ya'll don't take the supplies the kids bring in. I was married to a teacher for 9 years. We never had to buy things like ziplock bags and paper towels.

Let’s just ranks the list the baws from the OT hate most:
1) restaurant staff
2) teachers
3) realtors
4) plant operators
5) oil patch baws
6) police

A fully wrapped (benefits and salary) compensation package for a teacher in a progressive state is pretty damn good relative to the hours they work. And yes the hours they work varies greatly. As a teacher I never worked outside of school hours unless by choice.

Items you missed:

Travel ball parents
Speak to your manager haircuts
" my kid has a unique name" white people
30A baw and bawettes

All of these are the same people
