Obviously, teachers need a raise since she couldn't even afford a suitcase with wheels

Maybe walking to grand central station that’s like 5 blocks away like millions of other people do, everyday in nyc?

Are you fricking retarded?

Nah, somethings up with the way it was written. "Dragging"..."suitcase "

It emplies it had no wheels, or she would have been pulling.
Quite possible the writer is the retaded one...but giving the visual that a young woman is dragging a page on pavement at 6am. Doesnt sound like something that someone would be doing if they had planned ahead on travelling.
Sounds more like an unplanned situation to me.

So you’re saying she shouldn’t have been walking at 6am?

1. Where do you read i said that...you just did.

2 i said the way the writer wrote it, its wierd to invisin a young woman "dragging" a suitcase acroos the pavemwnt at 6am.

Travel plans would seem to have included having transportation ready so one wouldnt have to drag suitcases considerable distances.

This all means nothing if she was pulling a bag easily on wheels .

Again, the writer could have cleared this up

Some teachers use those rolling suitcases to cart their teaching materials to and from.

She was crossing the street not hoofing it to Buffalo. You never had to cross a street to grab an Uber or taxi?

As has already been stated, she could have been walking to grand central or to a subway station, or just crossing the street to catch a cab, etc.

It’s NYC

Sometimes you have to cross the street to get to your Uber or hotel room

Some of you are so fricking dense.

It’s NYC. You walk everywhere. To the subway, to catch a cab, etc. How some of you can’t comprehend that is beyond me

Absolutely agree. But when its on wheels...dragging isnt the verb that comes to mind...again, the writer suvks

Sure it is, if the bag was large, heavy and/or unwieldy. It can be difficult to pull one around on a NYC street, even if it’s on wheels.
