I have come to the conclusion that everyone needs to give up any hope on New Orleans for the next ten years or more.
It will soon make Detroit look like some sort of amusement park compared to what is happening to the shite show that is happening in New Orleans.

bullshite. I live and work in this city. These fricks got what they wanted with the statues and some street names may very well be replaced. I do work with black people in this city on a daily basis, and there is no legitimate grass roots effort to support these morons. I'm not even convinced that the statue removals would have passed a city- wide vote. The vast majority of New Orleanians, white and black, loathe Mitch Landrieu and his ilk.

BS. The people I work with are French Quarter restaurant people. And to a man/woman, no one I know supported anything Landrieu has done in the last year.
