Any OTers have one in their home? What are your thoughts about it? The one I'm looking at seems to have a ton of good online reviews no matter what retail website you look at.
I'm thinking about changing my 16yr old 40 gal water heater for this Takagi water heater model....
LINK
A lot of reviews (tons on Amazon) suggest getting the service valve kit with it as well.
TIA!

Gonna cost you bigly to redo your house to handle that

I have two Rheem tankless units but some reason only one is in use. I bought the house 1 year old and all the lines are routed through one unit but it's been fine.
Water is hot, what else can I say.

This is also my understanding. At least nobody in the many reviews has mentioned having to replace lines to accommodate this unit.

Have you had issues with the hot water running out quickly with your tankless?

Depending on the size of your existing gas line, you may have to increase the size to accommodate the tankless unit. You also cannot reuse the old vent pipe. Will need to replace that as well.

A plumber can retro fit to your existing supply & return. Can't go wrong with gas, have you looked at Rennai heaters? I've used those with clients, very good heaters.

Just the opposite actually. Seems to be unlimited hot water and I have large family.

Good to hear. There will only be 2 of us regularly, sometimes 4 if we have guests visiting.

I have a Rheem tankless unit. We can run three showers washing machine and dishwasher at the same time and not run out of hot water. It is pretty incredible.

Water pipe sizing will not change with respect to a tank type or tankless type
Look at the BTU input on the tank heater and see what the BTU is for the tankless neater. if the same, your gas pipe size will not change. however, tankless will need higher BTU input in order to get the same gallons per hour, as you have no storage capacity.
If the heater is going close to your meter/regulator, likely wot be an issue, but if far from the meter/regulator, you may need to increase pipe size.
