Tailgating sound system/rechargeable?

I always just bring my generator with a bluetooth speaker. You're going to use a lot of batteries if you're tailgating.

Pyle makes PA/music systems that have an internal battery for under $200, I have one and it has worked very well though they are hit or miss in the quality control dept. I got lucky with mine. Bose makes an excellent one that's also in the $600 range. It really depends on how loud and how long you need it to run.

just got this one to replace an older ion model. works great. lasts 100 hrs on a full charge.

The sound is pretty good for what it is. It's perfect for our baseball tailgate. would likely work for smaller football tailgates. haven't really tried to max out the volume.

I have a big 120 Qt ice chest modified with a car battery and stereo and (4) 6x9 Carr speakers. It is unique and loud and heavy as hell. But I don’t even use it anymore. I have 2 ion speakers. One model is a little older and I have had to replace the rechargeable battery ( 20 buck amazon ). The newer one can even be paired with another speaker to make it louder and surround sound. But honest one is loud enough. Both have a am/fm stereo built in and are somewhat water proof. I wouldn’t leave it in the rain but it says you can. One of these can be had for 150 bucks at Sams club. A charge last 12 hours or so. At least that is what the review says I have never had it die on me.

I got an Ion Job Rocker back in college and it drowns almost any other system out that is around us whenever it’s in use.

Has Bluetooth, Aux capability and can charge phones if it is plugged into the power source.

Battery lasts 5-6 hours still on full charge 5-6 years later.
