Im one of the ones hauling arse in the left lane, so if someone is tailgating me, it's because I'm stuck behind the car in front of me. They still do it though. I don't brake check, I just let off the gas and slow down gradually. If that don't work, I open my sunroof and toss a small ball bearing out.

I drive a little faster than most people and usually move to the right lane as soon as possible when I see someone coming up behind me if I'm in the left lane. If they get on my arse though, I'll gladly slow down and match speeds with the person in the right lane until they back the frick off.

Some of you in this thread really get bothered by some shite that doesn't really effect you. I just mind my own and don't change a thing. I pass/move over as supposed to and at faster speed than most traffic. If someone wants to ride my arse, so be it, they will sit there mad and impatient until I can get over. I never tailgate when I come upon slow drivers. Sometimes it sucks arse to get stuck behind a dumbass for a while, other times you can blow past them in the right lane, but the potential risk vs minimal gain is not worth tailgating someone.

But at the same time if there is someone going below the speed limit in the left lane I’ll come up fast on them at first and then back off. That shite is infuriating.
It is often a Nissan driver, you know what I mean. And they have no idea why people are mad at them.

How many 4 lane interstate roadways does Louisiana even have? Excluding the ones through bigger cities.

But a roll bar in back of truck or light bar on top of vehicle.
Have a light bar on the front for folks that put their brights on you and a light bar facing the rear for tailgaters.
Turn on whichever light bar you need to depending on situation. They’ll back off from tailgating
