My thoughts as well, especially when you factor in that i was once pulled over because my tires protruded 2 inches beyond my fender flares on a jeep wrangler.

I’ve seen it in Louisiana a little bit too. Not New Orleans, but other areas like Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, etc.
