Radar showing conditions for possible tornado around E McNeese St and 210 loop according to KPLC.

Also around Ryan St downtown right off of the lake

I think the storms are learning. We've seen an unusual number coming very close to radars this year.

There was strong rotation right by the 210 loop in Lake Charles. Any reports?

What sucks right now is that LC rotation is in a place where CC is useless to tell if anything is on the ground. It is too close to the LC radar and too far from KPOE to get a good look.

It's moving towards North LC around Goosport now. Hope everyone is safe. I have rentals downtown. Hope they are OK too.

Is there are Tornado Watch at all down there right now? It almost should be with how those storms are spinning coming off the water. Any of them may have the potential for a spinup.

It would be difficult to see. It likely wouldn't be a violent tornado, and it is in a weird spot with a whole lot of clutter. NWS is going to warn those on velocity couplet alone.

Yes but its almost over. There was apparently a wall cloud spotted too but no idea if anything ever spun up.

I just drove to Moss Bluff in this mess. 35 mph was max speed.
