There are a lot of white men on the left who buy into this. These aren’t the kind of men who do well in the dating market though. Perhaps it appeals to their feelings of impotence.

Two generations ago, these men had strong role models, as well as structures that taught them how to be men, and how to interact with women.

Churches are fading away though, family units have been shattered, the boy scouts are in a death spiral, fraternities aren’t what they were, and military service is increasingly uncommon. Life is also very easy, and while everyone experiences tragedies, there’s much less scraping. These men certainly haven’t experienced anything like the Great Depression or WW2.

It’s unfortunate, because all these men have left is a feminine popular culture that tells them to ignore their basic nature, and act like women.

The national culture is telling men to go hide in the closet, so to speak.

This has been a true disaster, but not just for the men, it’s making women miserable too. It’s harder and harder to find strong partners. People who are actually worth marrying. And it’s forcing them to take up more dominant roles, which isn’t what most women want.
