Nobody else thinks this looks sketchy? What are the chances of a deputy just happening to be in the area where a "suspected robbery"' is called in and it's his ex girlfriend and a guy, of a different race, and he shoots/kills him.
The prior definitely throws some shade on it but I'm not so sure on this one. What if it was a one time, big time phuck up and he really had gotten his act together?
I'm going to take a wait and see on this one.

You're assuming a lot of what you read is true. He didn't "just happen" to be there, he was called out by dispatch.
Or do you think the deputy was out hunting for this guy all night and got lucky?

Overcrowded underfunded jails.
You'd think they'd let out some dumbass who's only offense is smoking weed and make room for this dirtbag.

When you say I'm assuming what I read, you're the one assuming. You don't know where I get my info. I'll just say this and leave it here, I was at his mom's house today.

She neglects to mention that he had a charge for shooting an assault rifle at a police car after he was caught with the stolen ATM a few years ago
Can't defend someone for robbery, that's a bad decision. I can't understand how people think they could get away with committing crimes today with cameras everywhere.

According to his friends and family he was never found guilty of discharging a firearm related to the ATM incident

This is the same guy who stole a backhoe and tried to steal an ATM from a local bank almost two years ago. Why wasn't this guy in jail?
quote:
“He was such a good and caring guy, where ever he want he always made everyone laugh. He was closer than a friend, kind of like a brother to me.” Ronald McGee explained.
“When you were down, he would lift you up.” Lessie McGee added.
Ronald McGee says he met with Guillory’s parents after the shooting happened.
“His mom and dad ain’t doing well at all. They just can’t believe their son was taken from them. They were so proud of him because he started his own business.” Ronald said.
Lessie is most heartbroken for the ones who loved him most.
“They won’t even have him no more.” *sniffling “And boy they loved their daddy.” said Lessie nearly crying.
The McGees say Dejuan is leaving behind three children.

So dispatch was in cahoots with the police officer hunting down this poor upstanding citizen? Lol

Story goes that he had just been paid for some concrete jobs......
This may be a stretch, but what if ole girl robbed and killed him, or set him up?
Weird deal, all around.....

Sounds like a job for Louisiana State Police Detectives Rust Cohle and Martin Hart

He plea bargained it down to just the criminal damage to property. As others have indicated, the parish jail probably didn't have the funds or the space to hold him, it appears it was his first offense, so the DA gambled that this guy wouldn't do anything else. Dumb move, apparently.
As I indicated before, I have reason to believe the State Police are going to rule this a justified shooting.
