Supply trucks in north La are filling up and headed your way

I love this state. I've seen drop off points scattered throughout north La for supplies. Many facebook posts directing people where to drop off water, food and money. Family and friends asking where they can drop off essentials. Hang tight, stay strong and come back stronger than ever South La, help is on the way! (where's the media coverage?)

does one of those trucks have an instrument cluster for an 08 tundra?

I do agree over the weekend and Friday Nola could have done better with their tv coverage but I don't think they had people in place and knew how bad it was getting. Wwl870 had continuous coverage.

I asked in main flood thread but never got an answer. Buddy texted me saying he heard north La about to possibly be in flood situation like back in spring. Anyone heard anything else on this?

Don't think so but some flooding expected in southwest central LA... Not Lake Charles but south and east of there

Getting a lot of rain, but not down pours like in the spring. So far so good.

Thanks for responses, still looking at rain everyday for the next week. I am glad to see more supply trucks going down to help though. Hopefully relief comes soon for everyone down south La.

Local news is not the issue. Its National News.
Go to Fox news or CNN's website. There is nothing there regarding the flooding. You have to search for it

Nah man, not like it was in the spring or last year.
Now SW Arkansas on the other hand...

I know there is a load coming from Dallas as well, the wife and I made a Costco run yesterday to get some supplies.......they are being delivered to La by a friend of hers.

1 out of 4 people in my office have heard about what is going on. Heard it "mentioned" on the news on my way home from work today.
So, it's being talked about but not to an extreme extent.

I've been watching the national and local news, and the weather channel. Up until yesterday, there was barely any mention of it. Weather Channel was showing just as much about it being 100 in Philly and that it was raining in Ohio than they were showing the flooding. Local news has been having spending 10-15+ minutes on it since yesterday. Before that, it was a couple of minutes.
National news has barely said anything. They're more concerned that Trump eats pizza with a fork than 40,000+ homes flooding and 25,000+ people being rescued.
My grandparents in Raleigh (who are from here) didn't know about it until Sunday night, and my grandma in Spartanburg didn't know about it until I spoke with her today. Hell, a lot of people in Metairie had no idea the scope of the flooding until yesterday.
