Had to go into wal-mart to buy some socks. Strolling by the Men's clothing section, I noticed an entire section for SuperHero/Marvel/Star Wars type clothes for grown men. Not just one rack, but multiple racks and displays. All stuff that looks like it should be in the kids/boys section.

Is there really that big of a market for grown arse men to be buying little boys super hero clothes and not being embarrassed to wear it in public?

With Halloween coming there probably is a market.

Adults have Halloween parties and dress up for them. Has nobody ever invited you to a party before?

The left is a bunch of man children who play games in their basement and post on Reddit.

There was a thread the other day about none of them getting laid

Sorry. Need to clarify, this wasn't the costume area and these were not costumes. But clothing (shirts, sweatshirts, pants, pajamas, etcm) with Spiderman and Yoda and shite.

Men stopped learning to grow up in the early 2000's

I say this as a fairly immature 43 year old.

Yes it's perfect to wear while eating your "adult" happy meal

I've never been to a party with a bunch of grown men wearing Captain America t-shirts. I guess I'm missing out.

There’s always been a market for nostalgia.

A mask and ball gag always works for me, but that’s just me

It's not just men and you and I are the same age and while there are some in our generation, it is really bad with two generations behind us.

I get where you are coming from, I really do…but is it really that different from wearing merch from any other franchise? Sports team, political affiliation, show/hobby you like?

This is a little like people playing fantasy football ripping on people playing D&D.

It’s all nerddom of one stripe or another.

I’m sure you aren’t guiltless yourself

I hear you, man

A great day is going out in my Captain American uniform to the comic book store to score some new Funko Pops to add to my collection then heading to Mcdonald's for an "adult" happy meal only to top the day off by watching the latest episode of She-Hulk with my wife and her boyfriend.

100% better than watching LSU beat Florida.
