I've got two teens and need to buy them suits for an upcoming wedding. Until now I have gotten by with a cheap sport coat off the rack and slacks, but for this one I need to step there game up a bit.

Obvious problem is they are gonna grow out of it and I do not wanna dump a buttload of money into something they may wear just 3-4 times over the next two years.

Suggestions from some dads who have been in the same boat?

Your thread title was really confusing. Thought you were looking for suit recommendations for your teenage weed dealer.

Find yourself a Joseph A Banks....it was made for this kind of thing. Usually some kind of pretty good sale going on.

Why would a teenager need to wear a suit to grow weed?

Is there a Burlington coat factory by you? You can get a YM suit for about $100 each and tailoring is done there for about $40

Just bought my 14 year old son a suit for a wedding last night. Went to Men's Wearhouse. Buy one suit get another for $150. So we each got a new suit for $900 total. Went to Jos Abanks and could have gotten two suits that we liked there for about $800 but we rathered the suits from MW.

Is a suit really needed for this wedding? Would the wedding be a total disaster if a teen isn't wearing a suit? How about the kids just stay home (they probably don't even want to be there)?

EBay. My son is the same and I have bought several high end suits for him cheap (<$100). He wore them a few times and I gave them to goodwill
