Google cetaphil treatment. It suffocates the bugs. Good luck! Daughter had it this summer and it was AWFUL!!!

Kids got them at sleepover this summer. Everyone in our house got them. We didn't know we had them yet and went to parents house for weekend, they got them as well. Even after we got rid of them I was paranoid as all hell, they literally get in your head

Cover her head in mayonnaise then put a shower cap on her head for a few hours. As another poster said the airtight shower cap coupled with the mayo will suffocate those bastards.kids brought it home from school a couple of months ago, wife has a bsn in nursing.....this worked. Then comb out the eggs rinse and repeat.

A good metal tooth lice comb is your best defense. Rid has pyrethins, Nix has permethrins. They are similar chemicals, often one seems to work better than the other but it's been so long that I can't recall which (4 kids ranging in age from 33 to 16) worked better for us. I personally never got them, I have the coarsest hair in the family.

A few of things to remember:
1-no treatment is likely to rid you of them without combing with a nit comb
2-most treatments generally require multiple applications
3-I know of no treatment that guarantees to kill all the eggs
4-most natural treatments actually only smother the live lice and don't kill any eggs,
5-the finer your individual hair strands are, the more likely you are to get lice-readheads and natural blondes beware
5-can't emphasize enough the importance of a good nit comb and attentive combing from the scalp out.

OK, now you've made my head itch.

Two pages in and no one asked for pics of the wife?

The OT has lost it.

Shave half her head.

Pour gasoline over head.

Light hair on fire.

Stab lice with ice pick as they run from the burning side to shaved side.
