The Gift of Valor. It is about USMC Corporal Jason Dunham. Damn good book and I do not read often.

I agree with Broke. Fearless is the best book I've ever read. No easy day was also great.

You can't go wrong with j.g. ballad's "Crash." So what if you've read it before, read it again, it's that kind of book.

*Russka (Edward Rutherford)

*Sum of All Fears (Tom Clancy)
*Any other book exclusively written by Clancy. Over the years I've read just about all of 'em, and NOBODY puts together a complex storyline like Clancy... dude was a flippin GENIUS!!!

*The Ten Thousand (Harold Coyle)

*If you like kinda "off the beaten path" fantasy type stuff, check out "The Dragonriders of Pern" book series by Ann Mccaffrey.

+ 1. I'd do Hell's Angels and the Rum Diaries before Fear and Loathing.

Yet another vote for Unbroken. Just finished reading it and could not put it down. Murica!!!

FYI - Louie's a USC guy so that may turn LSU fans off to it
