Which 4runner trim are you looking at?

This really is comical. You people who are insecure about looking gay or like a lezbo need to take a step back and look at yourselves.

I asked about peoples experiences in comparisons with the vehicles, not how insecure they would feel in them.

It feels like the Outback is the official vehicle of Colorado. I've been trying to decide between the two myself. I'll likely go 4Runner for extra clearance but I don't think you can go wrong either way

All these insecure people worried about looking homosexual in a car are fricking pitiful

These aren't purple smart cars.

I don't see much of a diff. It's really not insecure at all. It's just that 9 of 10 ppl that I've seen driving them were lesbians or gay dudes. I was done with school and had a career when I met my wife. Had I picked her up in a shiney new Subaru I doubt that I would have gotten a second date. Vehicles are like clothes, music, and just about everything else in the way that it reflects on who you are. Ya'll know this

Subaru is the most popular car for lesbians. So it's got that going for it

So lesbians and I have two things in common. We like the Subaru Outback and we like vagina.

One is a real SUV, the other is an awd crossover.

Outback is a station wagon version of the Legacy sedan. The Forester is the crossover.

Semantics I know.....but for people actually looking for an all wheel drive station wagon, the only options are the Outback and Volvo XC70.

Check those numbers. The Outback actually has more clearance than my 2004 4Runner. Maybe they raised it though.

Subaru is an amazing vehicle if you aren't a 19 year old frat kid in the south. I've got a good friend with one who lives outside of Denver. It's amazing how capable it is. Another friend had an older one that we used for a week in upstate new York in shite weather.

I would go with the SR5, possibly the Trail. Limited and the TRD Pro are just over the top for me, personally.

I am jealous of your location saying Moab.

My most favorite place in the entire country.

My wife has a 2014 4Runner in the limited package. We both like it a lot.

The third row is optional. Don't get it if you don't like it - problem solved. We don't have it, and I don't ever foresee regretting that decision.

The TRD Pro is my favorite trim because of the interior layout. I don't like the limited because of the amount of chrome they use.

The Trail edition is pretty legit.

I've had both, really aren't that comparable. I prefer the Subaru though. Both will last you a long time, the 4 runner will rust out if you're in a wet environment though, long before the Subaru.

Those aren't comparable vehicles, but both good for quality and reliability.

That's a common problem with Toyota trucks in Pennsylvania and the snow belt. They use a lot of salt on the roads here.

That's great, I've been up north quite a bit.

When the south starts getting ice and snow, I'll definitely be sure to ask you about what Subaru I should get.
